About the Project

Residential Exterior Over $200,000:

This baby boomers have been living in their west Springfield home for more than a decade. As they were getting ready for their retirement, their ambition to explore their outdoor living space has grown.
Owning into a beautiful secluded wood backyard, they were willing to invest to expand their outdoor living. Moving away from a simple wooden deck into a large outdoor stone patio, wood burning
fireplace, grilling area and lots of room for outlive their backyard.

The upper deck was no longer sufficient and they wanted a four-season screen porch area with vaulted ceiling and lots of panoramic view. Small deck for stepping out and staircase connecting upper quarter to gorgeous new stone patio.

The transition was extensive and expensive. Lot of excavation and built up for retaining walls to flatten and expand patio space. Pouring lots concrete slab to level up the ground. The south west corner is occupied with this amazing travertine wood burning fireplace and retaining walls Just breathtaking to seat out and some your cigar. All floor were covered with large scale travertine stone and walk way with amazing landscaping bedding connecting into the other side of back addition.
An 8 ft long cooking bar for gas grill and undercabinet fridge offering grilling and entertaining outdoor independent of main kitchen. Beaded stained ceiling panels under covered screen porch with few ceiling fans and outdoor lighting made it heavenly to hang out in this outdoor delightful patio.
The screen porch wrapped around with telescopic moveable screens, under vaulted ceiling and big-ass ceiling fan was just what she asked for. The outdoor heater made it possible to be there on those chilly autumn nights.
Set of new French door connecting sunroom to outdoor screen porch, wide plank ceiling panels, Trex decking and railing, lots of bright and beautiful lighting are just to name of few of this project amenities,
The big challenges of leveling backyard, and building structural retaining walls, underground gas line, electrical lines just worth mentioning.

Now they get to enjoy their retirement ages in their absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking backyard, entertaining lots of friends and neighbors on their prosed patio and porch. She loves spending time in afternoon reading her book under her immaculate screen porch.
The use of neutral color scheme of marriage of stone and other outdoor elements are making this project an award winning one.
