Residential Landscape Design/Outdoor Living Over $250,000:

This single-family estate home was backed into a scenic wood back yard. Partially flat land and parts needed more that five feet high excavation to level with the rest of the yard. The homeowner contemplated for year how to better use their outdoors.

Their wish list was contained of shaded/covered screened area, large patio for outdoor entertainment. A decent size deck off the main level kitchen and family room for sun deck and upper level gathering, and underneath of it a covered patio area for gaming and other covered events. An outdoor wood burning fireplace with seating in front of it for chilly Autumn nights. And most important of all an outdoor full Kitchen with large scale grill, burner, beverage center, beer fridge for keg and tab, and live running sink.
We started with excavating down to level up the entire yard, an area of greater than 2200 square feet, a walking up stone stairs to connect this space to upper-level driveway. The entire space was poured with concrete slab and covered with large scale flagstones. In the middle of the space with built an 18’x18’ screened in gazebo under cedar plank ceiling, heaters and large fan, just few steps away from the stone covered wood burning fireplace and all surrounding retaining wall and stone columns under post lights,
South side of this patio is the large stone covered kitchen area equipped with natural gas 42” grill and 18” burner and a sink set up all connected back to soil stack of main house. The excavaiton and burying of all utilities and home run them back main house was one the biggest and most difficult challenges of this project. An island with stainless cabinetry, beer keg fridge and beverage center wrapped in glass tiles and covered in a unique granite offering lots of bar seating for their outdoor cooking experiments.
They love their outdoor space and how much they can have throw parties and show of their home.
The upper deck is connected with a set of fanned out staircase to patio and another set of stairs connecting to walkway to driveway.
The picture-perfect outdoor patio is illuminated with lots of lighting at nights and a glorified with lots of amenities for weekend and afternoon events.
The multi functionality of this gorgeous outdoor living space has uplifted this couples spirit and mothan ever they want to do cook outs and have friends and family over for entertainment.
