An Open Kitchen Remodel

After thirty years, homeowners of a split-level single family home in an older Vienna community decided to remodel their living space. After bringing up three kids they wanted a house that met their needs for the long term.

“The old galley-style kitchen was separated by a couple of partition walls, two being bearing walls, and natural light was very limited,” says Sonny Nazemian, master designer/remodeler at Michael Nash Design Build. “The layout was almost unbearable for her, so our design team drew up an open concept floor plan to allow lots of space and much better traffic flow.”
