Our remodel of this builder’s kitchen upgraded it significantly. We installed full height upper cabinets and stainless steel appliances, as well as a large island with a generous curved top, and a gas cooktop with a downdraft ventilation system. The contrasting dark granite is a full backsplash giving it a rich feeling. We built in a hutch of glass front cabinets on the dining room wall, so they could use it as a liquor and serving bar. The pantry cabinet stayed where there had been a closet. We even upgraded the laundry cabinets to match. This kitchen has a built in microwave over the wall oven, to keep the counters free from appliances.
